Married to a Stranger: My Husband’s Double Life Broke Me

When my mother forced me to marry her best friend’s son, I felt like my life was no longer mine. I cried, I begged, I refused but in the end, I gave in. The ultimatum was clear: marry him or leave home with nothing.

I chose what I thought was survival.

At first, I tried to convince myself that maybe things would work out. Maybe love would grow. Maybe my instincts were wrong. He was kind, respectful, and distant but I told myself that not every marriage begins with passion.

But deep down, I knew.

There were signs I chose to ignore. The late nights. The emotional distance. The way he avoided intimacy. The constant “work trips” that never quite made sense. I silenced my doubts because I didn’t want to face the truth I had feared from the very beginning.

Two years into the marriage, everything came crashing down.

One night, I followed him.

I don’t even know what pushed me to do it—maybe it was intuition, maybe it was pain that had been building for too long. What I saw that night changed everything.

My husband… was living a double life.

By day, he was the perfect husband society expected him to be. But by night, he was someone else entirely someone free, someone honest, someone living the truth he had been forced to hide.

He was gay.

In that moment, my heart didn’t just break for myself it broke for both of us.

We were two people trapped in a lie we didn’t create, forced into roles we never chose, all to satisfy family expectations and protect reputations. I felt anger, betrayal, sadness… but also a strange kind of understanding.

Because the truth is, he is a victim too.

We were both sacrificed.

I confronted him, and for the first time, I saw the weight he had been carrying. The fear. The shame. The pressure. He admitted everything, tears in his eyes, saying he never wanted this marriage either but he didn’t have the courage to say no.

Just like me.

Now I find myself asking: what happens next?

Do we continue pretending for the sake of our families?

Do we finally choose ourselves, even if it means breaking everything apart?

Two years of my life have been built on a lie.

And now, I must decide if I’m brave enough to walk away from it… and finally start living my truth.

Schoolboys Spark Outrage After Filming Themselves Smoking a Fire Extinguisher

WATCH A VIDEO OF SCHOOL BOYS:

A shocking video circulating on social media has left many parents and community members deeply concerned after a group of schoolboys were seen doing something extremely dangerous — smoking from a fire extinguisher.

In the disturbing footage, the boys, believed to be learners at a local school, are seen releasing chemicals from a fire extinguisher and deliberately inhaling the fumes as if they were smoking. The video shows them laughing and encouraging one another while clouds of white chemical powder fill the air.

Health experts warn that fire extinguishers contain chemicals that are extremely dangerous to inhale. These substances are designed to put out fires, not to be breathed into the lungs. Inhaling the powder or gas can lead to serious breathing problems, chemical burns in the throat, lung damage, or even poisoning.

Parents and community members who saw the clip quickly expressed outrage online, saying the behaviour shows how easily children can be influenced by dangerous trends on social media. Many are calling on schools to take stronger action to educate learners about the risks of such reckless behaviour.

Incidents like these are becoming more common as learners try to impress their peers online. “Children often don’t realize the consequences. Something they think it is funny. It can cost them their health or even their lives.

Parents are now urging schools to increase supervision and to hold awareness sessions about peer pressure, social media challenges, and substance abuse.

Authorities have also warned that misusing emergency equipment like fire extinguishers is not only dangerous but can also lead to disciplinary action.

As the video continues to spread online, many people are hoping it will serve as a serious wake-up call. What started as a reckless stunt could easily have ended in tragedy.

He Promised Me Love — But Turned Me Into a Prostitute to Fund His Lavish Life

What started as a fairytale romance quickly became a nightmare I never imagined I would live through.
I met him at a popular club in the city. He was charming, well dressed and confident. He introduced himself as a successful businessman from Nigeria who had recently moved to South Africa to expand his business. He spoke sweet words, bought expensive drinks and made me feel like the most important woman in the room.

Within weeks, we were inseparable.
He showered me with attention and gifts. He told me he saw a future with me and promised to take care of me. I believed every word he said. My friends warned me that everything seemed too good to be true, but I was already deeply in love.

Then slowly, things started to change.
He began complaining about financial problems. He said his money was “stuck” in business deals and that he needed help temporarily. At first, he asked me for small favors like sending money or paying for groceries. I didn’t think much of it because I thought we were building a life together.
But his requests soon became darker.

One night he told me that since I was beautiful, I could easily help us make money by “entertaining” some of his wealthy friends. I was shocked and refused immediately. He became angry and accused me of not loving him enough to support him.
He manipulated me emotionally, telling me that couples help each other during difficult times.

Eventually, the pressure became too much. He convinced me to meet one of his “friends” at a hotel. He promised it would only happen once and that it would solve all our financial problems.

But it didn’t stop there. What I thought would be a one-time mistake quickly turned into a nightmare. He started arranging more meetings with different men, collecting the money himself while I was left feeling ashamed and trapped.

Meanwhile, he was living a lavish lifestyle wearing designer clothes, driving expensive cars and partying almost every night. I later realized that I was the one funding his lifestyle.
I had become a prisoner in a relationship built on lies and manipulation.

HIJACK ATTEMPT BACKFIRES: Uber Driver Escapes as Community Captures Three Suspects, Including Woman

HIJACK ATTEMPT BACKFIRES: Uber Driver Escapes as Community Captures Three Suspects, Including Woman

What started as a normal trip for an Uber driver quickly turned into a terrifying ordeal after three people posing as clients allegedly attempted to hijack him in Pimville, Zone 6.

According to reports, the driver received a request and picked up the passengers at an unusual and isolated pickup point in Pimville. Everything appeared normal at first, but only a few minutes into the trip the situation took a shocking turn.

The suspects suddenly pulled out what appeared to be a gun and threatened the driver. The weapon was later discovered to be a toy gun, but at the time the driver believed his life was in immediate danger.

Fearing for his safety, the driver panicked, swerved the vehicle and lost control before bringing the car to a stop. He immediately jumped out and ran away screaming for help from nearby residents.

Members of the community responded within moments after hearing the driver’s cries. Residents rushed to the scene and managed to apprehend all three suspects, including a woman who was part of the group.

Before authorities arrived, the community reportedly dealt with the suspects themselves and restrained them while waiting for the police to take over the situation.

The dramatic incident has since drawn attention on social media, with many people praising the quick response from community members that prevented the situation from escalating further.

The Night I Discovered Why My Father Never Spoke About His Family

Growing up, I always knew my mother’s side of the family. We visited them during holidays, attended weddings, and shared happy memories together. But when it came to my father’s family, there was always a strange silence.

Every time I asked him about them, his face would change. He would become serious and cold.

“Don’t ever ask me about those people,” he would say.

That only made me more curious. Why would someone completely cut off their own family? What could they have done that was so bad?

As I got older, the questions kept growing inside me. I needed answers. So one day, without telling anyone, I secretly started searching for my father’s relatives.

After weeks of asking around and looking on social media, I finally found someone , my cousin.

She sounded excited when she learned who I was.  She said she will introduce me to our grandmother.”

My heart was racing. Finally, I was going to meet the grandmother I had been dreaming about my whole life.

But I knew my parents would never allow it.So I lied.

I told them I was going to a friend’s house for a sleepover.

Instead, I travelled to meet my father’s family.

When I arrived, they welcomed me with open arms. My grandmother hugged me tightly as if she had been waiting for that moment for years.

“My grandchild… you finally came,” she said with tears in her eyes.

Everyone in the house seemed happy to see me. They cooked food, laughed, and asked many questions about my life.

For a moment, I thought my father had been wrong about them.

That night, I went to sleep in one of the rooms in the house.

Everything felt normal.

But in the middle of the night, something strange happened.

I suddenly felt something touching my face.

It was soft… but very real.

Half asleep, I brushed my face with my hand and thought maybe it was just part of a dream. The room was dark and quiet, so I forced myself to sleep again.

In the  morning  I woke up feeling extremely tired.

My whole body was painful, like I had been running all night or fighting someone in my sleep. My muscles were sore and my head was heavy.

As I slowly walked outside, still confused about what I had felt during the night, I heard two neighbours talking near the gate.

One of them said something that made my blood run cold.

“Hai… pitsana e ya shiana bosigo.”

Roughly translated, it meant:

“Yoh… that child works at night.”

Or in village talk… that child turns into something at night.

My heart started pounding.

At that moment, I suddenly remembered my father’s warning.

“Don’t ever ask me about those people.”

And for the first time in my life…

I wondered if I had just discovered the reason why my father did want to be part of their lifes.

The Night We Took My Sister to a Traditional Healer in Limpopo .

When my sister became sick, our lives changed overnight.

She was once full of life — always laughing, always energetic. But suddenly she began losing weight, complaining about strange pains, and waking up screaming in the middle of the night. Some days she couldn’t even stand up.

My parents took her to different doctors and clinics around the Vaal Triangle, hoping someone could find the problem. Blood tests were done, medication was prescribed, but nothing seemed to help.Instead, she kept getting worse.

Weeks turned into months, and the doctors began saying they could not find anything physically wrong with her. My parents were desperate.

One day, someone told my father about a powerful traditional healer living deep in a rural area of Limpopo. They said people travelled from far places to see him when modern medicine failed.

My father decided we had nothing left to lose.

We left the Vaal late in the evening and drove for hours through dark roads and quiet villages until we reached a small settlement outside Polokwane. The healer had given us strict instructions: we had to arrive at exactly 3 a.m.

He said the ritual had to be done before sunrise.

When we arrived, the place was silent. The healer, an elderly man wrapped in traditional beads and animal skins, was already waiting for us. He spoke very little but looked at my sister for a long time, as if he could see something the rest of us could not.

Then he told us to follow him.

We walked behind him into a dark forest not far from his homestead. The only light came from a small lantern he carried. The deeper we walked, the quieter everything became.

When we reached the river, he told my sister to remove her clothes.

My parents hesitated, but the healer said it was necessary for the ritual. My sister, weak and frightened, did what he asked.

The healer began performing strange rituals — throwing bones onto the ground, chanting in a low voice, and sprinkling a mixture of herbs and water around her. At one point he burned herbs in a clay pot and the smoke filled the air with a strong smell.

What we saw that night was terrifying.

My sister began shaking violently and crying in a voice that did not sound like her own. The healer continued chanting louder and louder while shaking rattles made of animal horns.

Suddenly she collapsed to the ground.

The healer told us to put her in the water and continued the ritual for several minutes that felt like hours.

Then, just before the first light of dawn appeared, everything went quiet.

My sister slowly sat up, breathing heavily, but the strange expression on her face was gone. The healer looked exhausted but calm.

He turned to us and gave only one instruction:

“Go home. Do not look back.”

We quickly helped my sister get dressed and began walking back to the car. None of us dared to look behind us as we left the forest.

Even today, I still remember that night clearly the darkness, the chanting, and the fear we all felt.

But the strangest thing of all?

From that day on, my sister slowly began to recover.

My Friend Invited Me to Her Church… What I Saw That Day Still Haunts Me

When my friend invited me to her church, I thought it would be a normal Sunday service singing, prayer, and a powerful sermon. I never imagined that stepping into that building would become one of the most terrifying experiences of my life.

The moment I walked through the church doors, something felt terribly wrong. A strange cold sensation ran through my body. I could feel the hairs on my head tightening, almost as if my scalp was shrinking. My heart started beating faster, and an uneasy feeling settled deep in my stomach.

At first, I tried to ignore it.

“Maybe I’m just nervous,” I told myself.

The church slowly filled with people. Old women wrapped in scarves sat quietly in the front rows, whispering to each other. Some of them looked at me in a way that made my skin crawl. Their eyes followed me as if they knew I didn’t belong there.

Then the pastor stepped forward to preach.

The moment he began speaking, my body started shivering uncontrollably. His voice was deep and commanding, echoing through the church walls. The more he spoke, the heavier the atmosphere became. It felt like the air in the room was thick and pressing down on everyone.

Suddenly he stopped preaching.

“Now it is time to pray,” he said in a serious voice.

The entire church fell silent.

“Everyone must close their eyes,” he continued. “Do not open them… no matter what you feel, hear, or sense around you.”

The warning sent chills down my spine.

Everyone obeyed immediately. Hundreds of eyes closed at once.

I closed mine too, but my heart was pounding violently in my chest. Only seconds passed before something strange began to happen. A powerful wind suddenly swept through the church.

But the doors were closed.

The windows were shut.

There were no fans.

Yet I could feel something moving past me—fast and forceful, like invisible bodies rushing through the air. The wind brushed against my face and neck, sending waves of fear through my entire body.

My hands started shaking.

I tried to keep my eyes closed like everyone else, but the fear was unbearable. My curiosity slowly defeated the pastor’s warning.

Very slowly… I opened my eyes.

What I saw nearly made my heart stop.

Several of the old women who had been sitting in front were no longer touching the ground. Their bodies were lifted slightly in the air, their feet dangling as they moved slowly above the floor.

They were flying.Not jumping,Not standing.

Flying.

Their church scarves floated around their heads as if carried by an unseen force. Their faces looked different and cold, emotionless, almost possessed.

My body went numb.

For a moment I couldn’t breathe.

The church was still filled with people praying loudly, eyes tightly shut, completely unaware of what was happening around them.

I quickly closed my eyes again, terrified that if anyone noticed I had seen them, something terrible would happen to me.

The prayer continued for what felt like hours.

When the pastor finally said “Amen,” everyone opened their eyes like nothing unusual had happened.

The old women were back in their seats.

Everything looked normal again.

But for me, nothing was normal anymore.

Even today, I still ask myself the same question:

Did I really see what I think I saw… or did that church hide something far darker than anyone could imagine?

MY MOTHER WAS UNALIVED BY PEOPLE USING THE TRICK OF A CRYING TOKOLOSHI AT NIGHT

MY MOTHER WAS UNALIVED BY PEOPLE USING THE TRICK OF A CRYING TOKOLOSHI AT NIGHT

When My Mother Answered a Cry in the Night

A mother’s love cost us our mother.

A few months ago, my father passed away. He was a police officer, a man who dedicated his life to protecting others. We buried him with dignity, surrounded by family. But what we didn’t know then was that with his death, the protection he gave our family was gone too.

My father was our protector, our safe haven. He was the only man in the house, and my little brother was only three years old. After he died, the house suddenly felt different. Vulnerable.

There had always been silent tension between my father’s family and my mother’s family. My father’s relatives believed my mother was responsible for his death, even though he died in a car accident far from home.

On the day of my father’s funeral, his entire family left that very same day. They didn’t stay to make sure we were okay. They packed their bags and disappeared from our lives just like that.

My mother’s family stayed behind with us for a while. But as the weeks passed, they slowly returned to their homes. By the third week after the funeral, everyone had left except my grandmother—my mother’s mother.

Then one night, everything changed.

At around 2 a.m., we were woken up by the heartbreaking cry of a toddler outside our house. The cry was so painful and desperate that it was impossible to ignore. It sounded like a child in terrible distress.

It broke our hearts.

We all woke up and met in the passage, trying to figure out what was happening. I even recorded the sound on my phone because I wanted to send it to my best friend. It honestly sounded like someone was hurting a child in our yard.

My mother called the police while we stood together in fear.

She was clearly scared and in shock, but she told us to stay inside the house and lock the door once she stepped outside. She said she needed to check if there really was a child out there who needed help.

Before leaving the house, she reported everything to the police. They told her they would come, but anyone who has lived in rural areas of South Africa knows how slow the response can be. They said they were still waiting for their state vehicle to return.

The crying outside was getting more desperate.

My mother couldn’t stand it anymore.

She stepped outside to help the crying child.

We followed her instructions. The moment she left, we locked the door but stayed right behind it so we could open quickly if she needed to run back inside.

Only a few seconds passed.

Then we heard her scream.

“Yoh… baloyi!”

And suddenly, the baby stopped crying.

Everything went silent.

An hour later, the police finally arrived while we were still hiding inside the house, crying and terrified because our mother hadn’t come back.

When we saw the blue lights outside, we rushed to unlock the door. I ran toward the gate to let the police in.

But before I even reached the gate, I saw my mother lying in the driveway.

She was in a pool of blood.

My body froze. I couldn’t move. I couldn’t understand what I was seeing or how it had happened.

The police had to jump the fence because I was too shocked to open the gate.

They secured the crime scene, and after a few minutes they confirmed what we already feared.

My mother was gone.

Parts of her body had been taken.

Later, the police told us that this was the fifth case reported in the province. They believed it was the work of a criminal syndicate—people who murder innocent victims and remove body parts for ritual practices meant to bring wealth.

Since that night, my life has never been the same.

My mother died because she had a good heart. Because she couldn’t ignore the cry of a child who needed help.

She died being exactly who she was: a mother.

Do not attend to the baby cries in your yards at night, it’s not a new trick. It’s been happening for sometime now. It’s not safe out there at night.

Furious Slay Queen Shashiwowo Left Underpaid by Nigerian Man

Johannesburg’s nightlife was buzzing, but no one expected the drama that would unfold with Shashiwowo, the city’s famous slay queen. Known for her confidence, glamour, and no-nonsense attitude, Shashiwowo stepped out for what she thought would be a lucrative night.

The Nigerian man she met seemed charming, suave, and ready to make the night unforgettable. Promises were exchanged, deals were whispered, and Shashiwowo was ready to deliver expecting the agreed payment for her efforts. But the man had other plans.

When the night ended, Shashiwowo discovered she had been underpaid. Furious and humiliated, she confronted him, her rage igniting a dramatic scene. Onlookers said sparks flew as she demanded what was rightfully hers, refusing to be disrespected or taken advantage of.

The incident quickly spread on social media, with fans rallying behind Shashiwowo. Many praised her for standing her ground, while others gossiped about the scandalous night. The story serves as a stark reminder: no slay queen, no matter how dazzling, should ever be disrespected.

Shashiwowo walked away with her dignity intact, but the tale of her dramatic clash with the Nigerian man will keep the city talking for weeks.

A Nigerian man was caught with dead bodies in a shack where he dries the bodies and later use the bodies to make drugs

A Nigerian man was caught with dead bodies in a shack where he dries the bodies and later use the bodies to make drugs

According to the structures of the bodies it is believed that the bodies might be of South African or any other country except Nigeria.

Nigerian body structures are different and mostly consists of a flat head back. There were over 20 bodies in the shack , the man seems to have rented the place for his dark rituals of drying the bodies then smash the bodies into powder then use them to make drugs.

To the authorities surprise the bodies had no smell and it is believed that there is a chemical he uses that stops the bodies from having a foul smell.

Some of the bodies were hanging on the sides while others were laid on the floor hidden with blankets. The man who is responsible for this was reported by a worried family member who noticed that this car was moving weirdly and he visited the sight more often.

One day the family member decided to follow him to the site unknowingly and what he discovered scared him so much that he ran straight to authorities.

Drugs apparently have ashes of human bodies and that’s is why people who use drugs are mostly heartless and behave out of character. The man is a very wealth man who travels between countries almost every month and no one knows what he does for a living but he is filthy rich.

If you were to bump into him you’d never think he has such an evil heart, you would mistake him for a pastor instead. He is clean and soft spoken.

I MARRIED A WEALTHY MAN AND I IMMEDIATELY STOPPED MY PERIODS

I MARRIED A WEALTHY MAN AND I IMMEDIATELY STOPPED MY PERIODS

12 years ago I went to Pretoria in pursuit of a degree but thinks quickly to the opposite direction. I mixed myself with the wrong crowd and ended up abandoning my studies.

There was a club in Pretoria called E….a and we traveled all the way from Soshanguve TUT RES to groove at that place.

It was hip and happening on Thursdays until Sunday. There were beer and cider specials running at a very low price. You’d get a special of R5 a cider for about an hour or so.

I would tell you about all their specials and schedules but I’d never be able to tell you about a single module which was the reason I ended up in Pretoria in the first place.

I was just a young Zulu girl from the villages and I got absorbed by the city life. Monday I would be at res nursing babalas and Tuesday to Wednesday I’d be at res forcing presence. Thursday to Sunday I would be at sunnyside living my best life. My friends and I quickly became regulars there and life was just amazing.

Before I knew it I had a Nigerian boyfriend. We met at the club and he filled up our table with expensive drinks. We used to go for the specials and their good music but he introduced us to a certain type of groove there.

He would buy us expensive drinks like your champagne and also order platters for us. They made the best platters and that life quickly consumed us.

Before I knew it I had moved into his flat in sunny side and I slowly became a house wife while my parents thought I was a student.

I remember how he used to give me so much money that I would end up sending some of it to my parents. In high school we used to get monetary rewards for performing well so I lied to them and told them that the same thing is happening in university.

They were so happy because I was their only hope for changing our home situation. My Nigerian boyfriend used to give me so much money that I even sent my parents enough for them to start building.

We were able to build a 9 room house and they have never been so proud of me. But I noticed certain things happening to me that I couldn’t explain.

My then boyfriend convinced me to sign up for marriage with him at home affairs because the police were harassing him in SA. I won’t lie I truly loved him and loved how his presence in my life changed my entire being financially.

He had a very nicely furnished flat but he was hardly ever there. The flat was a two and a half bedroom. Those who lived in sunnyside knew what was meant when they said a flat was a two and half bedroom flat.

In the half bedroom I was forbidden to ever enter. It was also always locked. I wasn’t curious until I noticed that at night there are weird sounds and a weird light coming from there.

My man hardly spent time with me in the flat. He used to tell me that he travels for business and that’s why he is rarely there. But it didn’t bother me much because I was well taken care of. He truly took care of me and I had no need to be nagging him about his absence because I understood that he was working hard so i could live comfortably.

I hated that time of the month and I realised that since I met that guy I stopped having my periods completely and it made me super happy because I hated them. It didn’t bother me that they stopped until one night.

Well at first I panicked a lot thinking that maybe I’m pregnant and would take a pregnancy test monthly until I eventually got used to not having periods anymore.

During the dates of which I would get my periods I used to get extremely sick for the duration the periods used to last. I would get dizzy and have a terrible headache and my eye sight would completely fail me.

So I spent those days sleeping and feeling like I don’t belong to this world. I had no control over my body or emotions I was just a sick person waiting to take their final breath. That’s how bad it used to be.

I’ve been to different doctors and they found nothing wrong with me. One night during that periods I felt my body cold as it always got and I struggled to open my eyes but I kept on surprisingly saying a silent prayer. I don’t think I’ve ever prayed in my heart as much as I did on that day.

With the prayer I managed to open my eyes. I was in a dizzy mode but I was aware of my surroundings although I had no control over my body or the surroundings. I was too weak.

I opened my eyes and I was shocked to see my husband with two elderly women and one of his friends that I’ve met.

To my shock I thought my husband was out of the country but there he was n@ked with three other people. I was in a small room laying down on the floor facing up. I was also naked and they were surrounding me.  One of the elderly woman was standing between my legs.

They had spread them open and it looked like she was talking to something inside me through the legs.

The more she spoke the more I felt an excruciating pain down there. They were speaking a language I did not understand and I was nothing short of scared and shocked at the same time.

I tried screaming but I couldn’t hear my own voice although I was screaming my lungs out. They didn’t even react to my screams to show that they couldn’t hear me at all.

I was in trouble and I knew this because I felt what felt like labour pain and the sudden relief you feel once the baby comes out of you.

I know the experience because I was a victim of teenage pregnancy. After the relief I saw my husband and his friend being handed over a big snake by the old woman who was holding out my legs.

They carried the snake to the corner of the room and started singing or chanting im not sure what exactly they were doing.

I then passed out. When I woke up the next day everything felt exactly the way they would every month. I used to wake up with sore legs as if I had been jogging or exercising the previous night. But now it made sense because my feet were forcibly held wide open. I was weak and vommited black things. This happened every other month and suddenly I think I had found the reason.

I am also guessing that all this was happening in the half room because the room was small and had the black curtain on the window.

The next day I woke up fine as always . I’d be sick for four days and wake up healthy and well on the fifth day and that’s when my husband would return back home on the sixth day.

From that point on I noticed that the day I before I get sick he always leaves and comes back when I would be fine. When came back he acted as if all was well but he had this look of discomfort like he knew that I now knew.

I didn’t want to confront him because I didn’t know how dangerous that would be for me. The following month I had a dream of the same elderly women telling him that I was no longer of use to them now that I know the secret. They told him to serve them another innocent blood of he would suffer the consequences.

The very following day he woke up and ended the relationship with me without any valid reason. We never got a divorce but I desperately need help with the divorce but I don’t know where to find him . I have  now developed a huge mole on my private part that keeps growing and smells horrible. It forces me to bath every 6 hours to avoid the smell.

I also have nightmares and I am very sickly now.. I have moved back home and my parents don’t know the truth I just lied to them and told them that my roommate from Limpopo bewitched me because I was doing well academically more than them.

My parents are not educated so they have no idea what I was studying or how academics work.

They have taken me to different sangomas who confirms my lies which has now completely made my parents sold to my theory.

I need help locating the guy and also I need help removing whatever he has given me. His name is uchedima Mike, lived in sunnyside and drove a white BMW 325i and a black x5 back in 2013. I’ve attached his picture too.

“EVERY NIGHT I TURN INTO A MONSTER”: BEWITCHED IN A POLYGAMOUS MARRIAGE

I never imagined that joining a polygamous marriage would feel like stepping into a nightmare.

I am my husband’s second wife. At first, I tried to be patient, to respect the first wife’s place, to find peace in tradition. But peace is fragile in a home where jealousy runs deep and where spiritual power can be wielded silently.

It started subtly. Whispered warnings from neighbors. Strange looks from my co-wife. And then, the terrifying truth: every time I sleep with my husband, my face changes. He tells me I look like a monkey, his voice shaking, his eyes wide with fear.

The first time it happened, I laughed. Maybe it was a nightmare, I thought. But night after night, it repeated. The fear in my husband’s eyes grew, and so did my own. I began to see it myself, a flicker of something unnatural in the mirror, a shadow that didn’t belong to me.

In our culture, we call it bewitchment. Some say the first wife may have called on spiritual powers to protect her place in this marriage. Others whisper of ancestral forces, of muti, of jealousy turned into a weapon. I do not know what is real but I feel its consequences.

I feel trapped. I feel humiliated. I feel powerless. I want to love my husband, to be loved in return, but something dark lingers between us. Every glance, every touch, carries the weight of fear. Every night becomes a battle between what I can see and what I cannot.

I have turned to elders, to spiritual leaders, seeking protection and guidance. I have learned rituals, charms, and prayers. But the tension remains. The first wife smiles quietly, knowing something I do not, while I navigate a home where tradition, jealousy, and the unseen collide.

In a polygamous marriage, love is not just a matter of hearts it is a matter of spirit. And when the spirit is at war, even the closest bonds can crumble.

I live in fear of the night, knowing that every time I lie beside my husband, I might become something I cannot control, trapped in a battle between culture, jealousy, and the mysterious powers of the unseen.

Bishop Lekganyane allegedly Introduces Contraceptive Tea to ZCC Members and the tea also prevents cheating

Bishop Lekganyane allegedly Introduces Contraceptive Tea to ZCC Members and the tea also prevents cheating

Bishop Lekganyane, leader of the Zion Christian Church (ZCC), has introduced a contraceptive tea to his members, citing concerns about condoms. According to reports, Bishop Lekganyane has banned condom use among ZCC members, labeling them "evil" and "of this world," carrying an "unpleasant spirit." The bishop claims that using condoms shows a lack of faith in God.

The contraceptive tea, reportedly able to prevent pregnancy and fight diseases, is now being promoted as an alternative. Bishop Lekganyane argues that condoms contribute to infidelity, as people feel protected and are more likely to engage in unprotected sex outside their relationships. The tea is said to address this issue, automatically causing illness in those who engage in unprotected sex with someone other than their partner.

Reactions among ZCC members are mixed, with female members reportedly welcoming the tea, while male members express concerns. However, no one is questioning the bishop's decision.

MY MOTHER SOLD ME TO HER CUSTOMERS FOR MONEY.

By the time I understood what was happening, it was already too late.
My mother ran a small shebeen from our home. The house was always full  music blasting, bottles clinking, men laughing loudly into the night. To outsiders, it looked like business. Just another woman trying to survive. But behind the noise and the alcohol, something darker was happening.
I was part of the business.

At first, she would ask me to sit with certain customers. “Be nice,” she would whisper. “They are important.” I thought maybe I was helping. I thought maybe this was what children of struggling parents were supposed to do , assist where they could.
But then the requests changed.
She would send me into back rooms. She would close doors behind me. She would collect money afterward.

That was the moment I realized I was no longer her child in those moments — I was a transaction.
I remember staring at the ceiling sometimes, trying to leave my body in my mind. Trying not to feel. Trying not to think. I told myself it was temporary. I told myself she loved me and that this was just her way of surviving.
But love doesn’t look like that.

The betrayal cut deeper than anything else. It wasn’t just what the customers did. It was knowing my own mother arranged it. Knowing she counted the money. Knowing she chose to protect her income instead of protecting me.
Children are supposed to feel safest at home. For me, home became the place I feared most.

For years, I carried the shame like it belonged to me. I avoided eye contact. I stayed silent. I felt dirty, broken, unwanted. It took time  and courage to understand the truth: I was a child. I was exploited. I was failed by the one person who was meant to shield me from harm.
Today, I speak out not for sympathy, but for awareness.

There are children living in similar silence right now. Abuse does not always come from strangers lurking in the dark. Sometimes it hides in familiar spaces , in homes, in businesses, in families that appear normal to the outside world.
No child should ever be treated as a source of income.
No child should have to trade their innocence for rent money.
And no parent should

ever confuse survival with sacrifice when the cost is their own child.
This is not just a story of pain. It is a story of survival. And surviving means I am still here still standing and no longer silent.

FATAL BUILDING COLLAPSED IN OMONDEi LEAVING SIX PEOPLE DEAD.

Six people have tragically lost their lives after a building under construction collapsed at Amethyst Business Park in Ormonde on Monday afternoon.

The incident occurred when a concrete slab between floors gave way, causing a severe structural failure. Twelve people were reportedly inside the two-storey building at the time of the collapse.

spokesperson Xolile Khumalo said one person was rescued alive and rushed to hospital, while two others remain trapped under debris. Three individuals could not be located immediately after the collapse.

City officials have expressed deep concern over the incident and extended condolences to the victims’ families. A thorough investigation into the collapse is expected once rescue teams are able to safely complete their work.

At this stage, authorities have not released a definitive cause for the collapse. They have stressed, however, that understanding what went wrong will be crucial to preventing similar tragedies in the future.

This devastating event highlights ongoing concerns about construction safety and regulatory enforcement in South Africa, particularly in rapidly developing urban areas.

When Helping Turns Dangerous — The Westbury Uber Driver Robbery

When Helping Turns Dangerous — The Westbury Uber Driver Robbery

Could taxi drivers be responsible for so many incidents of robbery, hijacking and even murder around ehailing drivers?

Watch video of another sad and dangerous ehailing situation at westbury.

Westbury, a suburb of Johannesburg, was recently shaken by a robbery involving an Uber driver. The driver had arrived to pick up a passenger when he was robbed of his phone and cash. The incident was shared widely on social media, and many people in the community expressed shock and concern.

According to posts circulating online, the robbery happened during a normal pick-up. The driver was simply doing his job when the suspects approached him. Some reports say the situation happened quickly, leaving the driver with little chance to react.

This incident has raised concerns about the safety of e-hailing drivers. Many drivers work long hours and often travel to different areas to earn a living. Situations like this show how vulnerable they can be, especially when picking up passengers in unfamiliar places.

Community members have called for better safety measures and stronger action against crime. Many people are also reminding drivers to stay alert and take precautions while working.

The robbery in Westbury is a reminder that safety remains a serious issue. Drivers play an important role in helping people move around the city, and they deserve to feel safe while doing their work.

Taxi drivers have tried stopping ehail drivers with violence, threats and more but ehailing drivers never backed off and that led to taxi drivers giving up.

One ehail driver suggested that the taxi industry was willing to fight tooth and nail and it was rather too true to be true  how they eventually gave up. But since they have given up the rise in ehailing driver torments is rather questionable.

“I DUG THROUGH DUSTBINS SO MY GRANDMOTHERS SNAKE WOULD MAKE MONEY ”

When my parents died, the world became quiet in the worst way.

I packed my clothes into two plastic bags and went to live with my grandmother. Her house stood at the edge of the township  old, cracked walls, a yard that always felt colder than the rest of the street. When I arrived, she did not hug me.

Instead, she gave me rules.

“In this house,” she said firmly, “everyone works for the food they eat.”

I nodded. I was grateful to have a roof over my head.

Then she pointed to a small, windowless room at the back of the house. The door was old and scratched, secured with a thick padlock.

“That room is not to be opened,” she warned. “Your job is simple. Twice a week, you will go from dustbin to dustbin and collect used sanitary pads. You will throw them inside that room. If you fail…” she paused and looked at me in a way that made my stomach tighten  “there will be a heavy price to pay.”

I thought she was joking.

She wasn’t.

The first time I walked through the streets lifting dustbin lids, shame burned through me. I kept my head low, praying no one would recognise me. The smell was unbearable. Dogs barked. Flies buzzed. My hands trembled every time I found what I was looking for.

I told myself this was just another strange house rule. I told myself not to ask questions.

But every time I dropped the plastic bag into that dark room and heard something shift inside , something heavy my heart skipped.

What was I feeding?

Weeks passed. I never missed a collection day. I was too afraid. My grandmother watched me closely. She never thanked me. She only reminded me of the “price” if I disobeyed.

Then one day, curiosity defeated fear.

She had gone to church. The house was silent. My heart pounded as I stood in front of the forbidden door. My hands shook while unlocking it. The hinges creaked loudly as I pushed it open.

The smell hit me first metallic, heavy, suffocating.

Then I saw it.

Coiled in the corner of the dark room was the largest snake I had ever seen. Its body was thick and muscular, scales glistening in the dim light. Its head lifted slowly when it sensed me.

And beneath its heavy coils…

Money.

Notes scattered across the floor.

More money than I had ever seen in my life.

I froze. My breathing stopped. My mind raced.

The snake shifted, its body tightening protectively around the pile of cash. It wasn’t just lying there  it was guarding it.

Feeding on blood. Producing money.

In that moment, every warning my grandmother had ever given me made sense.

When I heard the front gate creak open, panic surged through me. I slammed the door shut and ran back to my room, my body shaking uncontrollably.

That evening, my grandmother’s eyes lingered on me longer than usual.

“You opened it,” she said quietly.

It wasn’t a question.

I couldn’t speak.

She sighed. “Now you understand why you must never miss a day.”

I lay awake that night, staring at the ceiling. I didn’t know what terrified me more the giant snake in the dark room or the fact that our survival depended on it.

People think poverty is simple. That it’s just about not having money.

They don’t understand what desperation can invite into a home.

Twice a week, I still walk from dustbin to dustbin.

And every time I hear that heavy shifting sound behind the door, I wonder:

Is the snake making the money…

Or is it slowly swallowing us whole?

I GOT A SNAKE THAT GAVE ME R300 000 PM BYT MY LIFE IS NOW A MESS

I GOT A SNAKE THAT GAVE ME R300 000 PM BYT MY LIFE IS NOW A MESS

Please keep me anonymous mamazala but this obsession over getting rich quick needs to end. I am ashamed to even tell my story but i honestly will brave through it to tell it hopefully I'll save a life or two.

I was yes WAS a young promising man who couldn't further his studies after matric so i went straight into job hunting while opening my own spaza shop.

I was fortunate enough to find a good paying job even with just my matric. I was a casino and hotel junior manager  and later became the senior manager.

I got good tips from clients and i was living a very comfortable life because my salary was also just as good. We had a frequent client who changed ladies like nobody's business. He could bring different ladies twice in one day.

The guy was very rich but what suprised me was the fact that he was always at the casino and he would hardly ever win but his money never ran dry. He tipped really good money, you'd get a 1k tip upwards from this guy.

My colleagues would fight for an opportunity to be at his service whenever he was there. He had mentioned to me in one of conversations that he runs successful businesses world wide. I was inspired and wanted him to be my mentor.

I had a tuckshop back at home which was ran by my wife when I'm at work. He said he could help me turn it into a supermarket in a space of a month. Who wouldn't be intrigued by such?

We all want to have successful businesses so he became my favourite person in the whole world. His presence made me very excited because i knew just how every conversation with him meant growth for my side hustle.

Time went on as i kept learning from him but the side hustle was still average, my wife wasn't making the R30 000 per day we hoped to be making. I then told my friend about the growth was coming along slow and he said but God helps those who help themselves. When you are ready to get deeper and darker come to me.

He said this leaving me with 200 notes that amounted to 5K after counting them. Let me just cut to the chase, i started hanging out with him a lot even outside work and i noticed that he has some kinda super natural powers.

Couple of months later he introduced me to a very weird looking white woman who gave me a snake that will get me money every week. Apparently the snake knows how much i need every week so there's no need to state it.

All i needed to do was s@crifice with a family member then from there on I'd need to sl33p with over 30 women a month and the snake will come lick off their souls from my body. I s@crificed my sick uncle. He had been sick for years now. Then it was the ladies all the way.

It was such an easy task to do because women loves money so money attracted them. I didn't even have to chase they brought themselves to me. My wife got tired of my many women and estranged new life and left me.

I continued living my best life provided by the snake. I would get over R300 000 a month and to say life wasn't amazing would have been an understatement.

10 years into the soft life the snake demanded 3 family members and one of them had to be my son. The longer i took the more it tormented me. It would even sl33p with my sons, wife and my self.

It knew where to find them. It would sl33p with me all night and I'd wake up tired and sick. Ukuthwala is very dangerous, it's not and never will be worth it. All the glam and glitz always ends up in pain.

My kids and wife are no more now, i have tried taking my life multiple times but somehow it always saves me because it is not yet done with me.

It always delivers the money and i want nothing to do with the money now. My mansion is the most darkest place to be.

I DATED A MAN I HAVE NEVER MET AND THE NIGHT I MET HIM MY LIFE FELL APART

I DATED A MAN I HAVE NEVER MET AND THE NIGHT I MET HIM MY LIFE FELL APART

I want to share something that still confuses and scares me. I don’t know if anyone will believe me, but this is my truth.

Six months ago, I started talking to a man on the phone. We never met in person. We spoke every day, and he slowly became part of my life.

At that time, my life was a financial mess. I was struggling badly. This man helped me in ways no one else ever had. Every week, he sent me money — a lot of money. Because of him, I felt less stressed. I started fixing my life and becoming a better person.

Somewhere along the way, I fell helplessly in love with him.

After six months, he finally agreed to meet me.

He came to pick me up at night and said we were going to his village. On the way, he stopped at a plaza. Instead of going inside with me, he gave me his bank card and kept sending me back and forth to buy things. I felt annoyed and embarrassed.

That’s when I started thinking maybe he was married and didn’t want to be seen with me.

We drove about 90 km to his village. It was very dark. He was quiet the whole time. The silence made me uncomfortable, but I ignored it.

When we arrived, I saw a huge mansion inside the yard. But strangely, all the lights inside were off. Only the outside lights were on.

He handed me the house keys and told me to go straight to the hut at the back. I was shocked. Why would I stay in a hut when there was a big mansion right there?

He told me to go inside the hut and light all the candles I found there. He said not to leave even one unlit.

When I entered, I saw more than ten candles. They were all black.

I lit them and sat on the bed. Immediately, I felt strange. The room felt extremely cold, even though outside was warmer. My hair started shrinking and twisting in a way that scared me. The air felt heavy.

Then my legs suddenly locked. I couldn’t move. I couldn’t scream. My voice disappeared.

When I looked up at the thatched roof, I saw big red eyes staring at me. I couldn’t see what they belonged to. I was frozen in fear.

I looked at the clock on the wall. It was almost midnight. We had arrived around 8pm, but it felt like time had moved too fast. He was still outside on his “business call.”

At exactly midnight, the door opened.

The man walked in.

But something looked wrong. He looked very short, with thin, small legs. Suddenly it made sense why he never wanted to walk beside me in public.

He was wearing a red doek on his head. I suddenly felt dizzy and fell back onto the bed. I could feel everything happening, but I was too weak to move.

The red eyes started moving closer. As they came closer, I could see clearly that it was a snake.

Both the man and the snake came toward me. I felt the most painful sensation I have ever experienced. It felt like they were sucking blood from my body. The pain was intense and unbearable.

Then I fainted.

I woke up in his car the next morning. He told me we had arrived at my place. I don’t know how I got into the car. I don’t know how he carried me.

Before I got out, he gave me a stash of money and said he would call me later.

He never did.

He blocked me.

I miss the money he used to send me. I won’t lie. It changed my life. But I keep asking myself what really happened that night. What did he take from me? Was it real? Was it something spiritual? Or was it something else I cannot explain?

I haven’t felt sick or experienced anything strange since then. But I still feel unsettled.

I am still searching for answers.

MY 9-YEAR-OLD SON SAW A SIDE OF ME I WASN’T READY TO EXPLAIN

I have never felt shame burn through my body the way it did that afternoon.

My 9-year-old son was sitting quietly in the lounge with my phone. I thought he was watching cartoons. I was busy folding laundry, humming to myself, completely unaware that my world was seconds away from collapsing.

Then I heard it.

Music.

Not cartoon music.

That music.

My heart froze.

I ran to the lounge — and there it was. On the screen. A video of me on stage, under flashing lights, barely dressed, dancing in ways no child should ever see their mother dance. My body moving confidently. The crowd cheering. Money being thrown.

And my son… staring at the screen.

He looked up at me slowly.

His eyes were not angry. They were not crying.

They were confused.

“Mom… is that you?”

I felt naked — not just on the screen, but in that room. Like every secret, every late night, every choice I made to survive had suddenly been exposed under the harsh light of my child’s innocence.

I grabbed the phone so fast my hands were shaking. But it was too late. He had already seen enough.

“Why are you dancing like that?” he asked.

How do you explain survival to a child? How do you explain adult choices to someone who still believes their mother is a superhero?

I could feel the embarrassment crawling up my neck. I wanted to scream. I wanted to rewind time. I wanted to disappear.

Instead, I sat down in front of him — feeling smaller than I’ve ever felt in my life.

I told him it was work. That sometimes adults do things to earn money. That what he saw was not for children. My voice cracked while I spoke. I couldn’t even look at him properly.

In his world, I pack lunchboxes. I help with homework. I kiss scraped knees.

Not… that.

The silence in the room felt heavier than any judgment.

That night, after he went to sleep, I cried. Not because I dance. Not because of the job. But because my two worlds collided in the worst way possible.

The phone - that small, innocent device  carried a secret life I thought I had carefully separated from motherhood. One swipe destroyed that illusion.

The truth is, parents are human. We struggle. We hustle. We survive. Sometimes in ways that are messy and uncomfortable. But when your child sees behind the curtain, the embarrassment hits differently.

I locked my phone that night. Strong passwords. Hidden folders. Everything.

But I can’t lock away that moment.

The way he looked at me trying to understand.

That’s the image that will stay with me far longer than any video ever could.

EVA MODIKA’S WEALTHY DUBAI BOYFRIND FORCED HER TO SHARE A ROOM WITH A HUGE SNAKE AND WHEN SHE REFUSED SHE WAS KICKED OUT TO THE STREETS BROKE AND HOMELESS

EVA MODIKA’S WEALTHY DUBAI BOYFRIND FORCED HER TO SHARE A ROOM WITH A HUGE SNAKE AND WHEN SHE REFUSED SHE WAS KICKED OUT TO THE STREETS BROKE AND HOMELESS

I am writing this with tears in my eyes because what Eva is going through right now is heartbreaking.

She went to Dubai excited and happy. She believed she was going to celebrate her birthday with someone she trusted — her wealthy boyfriend who promised her a beautiful experience. She packed her bags thinking she was going to be treated with love, care, and luxury.

But when she arrived, things were not what she expected.

She called us shaking. Crying. She told us that she was asked to share a room with a huge snake and allow the snake to do what it wants to her.At first we thought she was joking. But she was terrified. She said she refused because she felt unsafe and uncomfortable.

That refusal changed everything.

She told us she was kicked out. Just like that. No backup plan. No money to support herself. No safe place to stay. Imagine being in a foreign country with no immediate help. She is alone, stressed, and emotionally drained.

Right now, she is asking for help to come back home to South Africa. She has even pleaded for assistance from President Cyril Ramaphosa to help her return safely.

This is not about pride. This is not about glamour. This is about someone who feels stranded and scared.

We are begging anyone who can assist — authorities, friends, supporters — please help bring Eva home safely. No one deserves to be left on the streets in a foreign country with nothing.

She just wants to come home.
